My Background

For over 25 years I worked in senior roles within large organisations, leading teams, delivering business change and driving commercial performance. It was a fast-paced environment where having a clear strategy, strong leadership and good business structure made a real difference to results.

Over time I realised that many of the principles used in large organisations - strategic thinking, clear positioning, structured marketing and strong commercial decision-making - can have an equally powerful impact in small businesses. The difference is that small business owners are often trying to work these things out alone, whilst also delivering the work, managing clients and running the day-to-day of the business.

How I Help
Many of my clients reach a point where they realise they can’t just keep working harder in the business. They need to start thinking more deliberately about how the business itself works and grows. That’s where I can help.

 

I help small business owners step back from the day-to-day and think more strategically about their business. My work combines practical commercial experience with professional coaching, creating space to think clearly about where your business is going and how to move it forward.

I typically support clients with things such as:

• Clarifying business strategy and direction

• Strengthening their value proposition and positioning

• Developing a clear and practical marketing approach

• Putting better structure and controls in place as the business grows​

My Approach
My role isn’t to tell you how to do the work you’re already good at. It’s to help you build the business around it.

 

That often means stepping back, asking better questions, identifying what’s really holding the business back and putting the right foundations in place so growth becomes more intentional and sustainable.

Alongside my corporate experience, I’m also a professionally trained coach. This means our work together isn’t just about advice, it’s about helping you gain clarity, confidence and momentum.
